Z-Fold Christmas Card

I have really been enjoying Stampin' Ups Ready for Christmas set. It came out in their Holiday Catalog in 2017 and it was something I had to have. This set really says everything about Christmas.
It features a staircase, a Christmas Tree and a cute Wiener Dog. My brother and sister-in-law have two Wiener dogs so I knew I had to make them a card with two Wiener dogs.
Here is the card I made for my brother and sister-in-law in 2017:
I just love creating Christmas living room scenes that I did more of these in 2017 and also
in 2018.

Here are the living rooms I created so far in 2018:
I just love how you can create each scene to make it unique to the person you are giving it to.
The red wall paper living room is for a friend at church who has a gray cat, the blue card is for the pastor of my church whose family loves musical instruments and the third one is for another friend at church who owns many cats and she told me how she loves to go all out for Christmas.
Most of the products you see in these cards are from Stampin' Up and a few Lawn Fawn from their Critter Concert Stamp and Die set.

Tea Party Birthday Card

I've wanted to create a Step card for sometime, so when Les needed a "tea" card for a coworker, I did a grown up version of a tea party. This was a Pinterest inspired idea.
Used MFT dies and the card stock paper is from Michael's.

Z-Fold Birthday Girl Card

When a friend from church requested a tea party card, for a special young lady, I didn't turn to Pinterest, I turned to Google. I had an idea of where I wanted to go with the idea but Googling girls tea parties inspired me even more. This little girl's tea party wasn't complete until I added a bunch of stuffed animals. I decided to go with a Z-Fold card so I can have all the stuffed animals drinking tea and eating desserts.

I used a lot of Stampin' Up products to create this card.

Z fold Tea Party box card.
MFT Tea pot, saucers and spoons
Lawn Fawn Tea Cups, food and raccoon
Stampin' Up doily for tables, stamps and dies for chairs, cupcakes, tables, pictures, bear, rabbit and banner.
Using Pink Pirouette card stock.
Wallpaper card stock  from Micheal's craft store thanks to a very dear friend at church.

Paper Pumpkin Challenge

My achievement for 2018 was when I entered and won the Paper Pumpkin contest with this card. You were only allowed to use left overs from Paper Pumpkin past kits along with Stampin Up products. I decided to create a grocery store filled with party Watermelons to celebrate.

Valentines Box Gift Card

For the month of February 2018, I wanted to try another Pinterest idea. I loved the idea but the problem was that when you send this particular card, you would need an envelope for the card but both the card and box would have to be mailed in another box.

Ground Hog Birthday Card

Les' brother, Scott, has a birthday the day before Groundhog's day, so I wanted to create a Groundhog popping out of the ground. It took me awhile to find a tutorial on how to make a mechanism that would do this. After a bit of trial and error I made the mechanism. About 6 months later, Lawn Fawn came out with a die for this same effect.

Mine Craft Birthday Cube

What do you get a young man who loves Minecraft? My first ever, very dimensional birthday cube card. Thanks to Cricut Design Space, my idea came to life. I was able to download the ground images. I used my envelope punch board to create the box. I then went into Cricut Design Space and figured out the dimensions I would need to create all of the panels and the sign.I used some square dies and numbers for the front of the cube. The Creeper was cut from dies I had and modified. The chest was a free download that fit perfectly on the back of the box. The toughest thing about this was the Happy Birthday sign.
It took a lot of trial and error to get Cricut Design Space to create that sign. This is when you kiss your Cricut machine. 😍😍

Shutter Card - Baby Shower

I really enjoy card making. In 2018, I spent most of it learning new "Fancy Fun Fold" cards. I get many of my ideas from Pinterest. I have been interested in shutter cards. I see them from time to time on Pinterest and always wanted an opportunity to try one. Luckily a new baby was on the way and I saw a shutter card idea and used it as a guide. For Christmas, Les just happened to purchase a pack of paper that was more winter themed then Christmas and also various sheets of glitter paper. It just was meant to be. January of 2018, I made my first Shutter Card for a church member's daughter.

Lawn Fawn Winter Holiday Challenge

This is my very first blog post and I'm featuring Lawn Fawn Products.

I am using the Toboggan Together Set with the cute penguins. I envisioned this idea for months for my brother-in-law who absolutely loves penguins.

My idea was to have a penguin pulling his sled full of presents with his helper. The sled goes down a hill and the presents and his helper go flying off the sled.

I've used other stamps and dies to create this card but the main focal part are the penguins.

I also used the Stitched Hillside Pop-Up dies.

I'm entering this card in the December 2018, Lawn Fawn Winter Holiday
