Ground Hog Birthday Card
Les'
brother, Scott, has a birthday the day before Groundhog's day, so I
wanted to create a Groundhog popping out of the ground. It took me
awhile to find a tutorial on how to make a mechanism that would do this.
After a bit of trial and error I made the mechanism. About 6 months
later, Lawn Fawn came out with a die for this same effect.
Mine Craft Birthday Cube
What
do you get a young man who loves Minecraft? My first ever, very
dimensional birthday cube card. Thanks to Cricut Design Space, my idea
came to life. I was able to download the ground images. I used my
envelope punch board to create the box. I then went into Cricut Design
Space and figured out the dimensions I would need to create all of the
panels and the sign.I used some square dies and numbers
for the front of the cube. The Creeper was cut from dies I had and
modified. The chest was a free download that fit perfectly on the back
of the box. The toughest thing about this was the Happy Birthday sign.
It took a lot of trial and error to get Cricut Design Space to create that sign. This is when you kiss your Cricut machine. 😍😍
